Hart van Haren

A while back some of my paintings could've been seen in t Hart van Haren which is the name of a local restaurant. The boulding you see in front with the giant window and the tarace in front of it, that obviously is the restaurant. The exposure there allowed me to get my first paid commission and the commissioner was the owner of the restaurant, which is really cool.
It was quite a challenge to get a summerish admosphere while my reference material was all dark and winterlike. So I had to fantasize a bit and puzzle with the original material. I am fairly pleased with how it came along, the free interpertation made a different piece entirely from what I used to paint. Off course you can see it's still the same style I usually paint in, but it has something different about it.

This was finished back when I didn't had RSI, I am still on hiatus. It's going to take long I expect months, but how many I don't know.
